Unfortunately there isn’t really anything that can be done for corrupted files - if the data got scrambled, there isn’t a way to know how to unscramble it. This can happen to files stored/transferred in an auto-synced folder like Dropbox or Google Drive. Is is possible your file was stored in a service like that?
