Trouble importing from Figma

Principle Version: 5.14
macOS Version: 10.14.6
Figma Version: Release 91, Build 8
Description of what you need help with: this error, “Couldn’t reach Figma”, started all of a sudden it seems and I don’t know why. I should note that I’m on a trial at the moment getting auth to purchase.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. click Import from Figma from main menu or toolbar
