How do I detect hover event while dragging some item?

Hey folks,

there’s this thread on detecting hover events while dragging:

[hover%20actions] Managed to detect the hover by alternating two artboards put on auto to switch one to another. It’s a good enough method to record your ideas on desktop, however it does not work on mobile with touch (start + end). Is there any way to make it work on mobile?

But for the life of me I cannot replicate this. I simply cannot trigger hover event of a component (a simple animation inside that component, size change) while I dragging something above it.

How is this done? Please help!
