How can I make an elliptical shape?

Hi - I am trying to make a very simple animation of a disc that goes form lying (so it’s basically a line) and flips up to standing - seen from front.

But it seems that Prinicple will not make an elliptical form, no matter how much I try. It always end up being a square with rounded corners. This doesn’t looks good in the animation.

Is there really NO way to make an elliptical shape?

You can drag in an image of an ellipse or import an ellipse from figma (free), or sketch.
