Fade out after X time animation?

Has anyone been able to successfully fade out an element after a certain amount of time, rather than an action? I can fade out on scroll, or position, or transition, but it doesn’t seem that I can fade out an element after X amount of time (for example, I have a success message that fades in on transition, but there’s no way to get it to fade out after X seconds).

You can fade out using the timeline at the bottom, you just need to move the keyframes to the right to account for the time you want to wait for the animation to happen.
