Component with dropdown not linking to parent artboards

Hi, I have a component that has dropdown states. The same component exists on all artboards. A few of the artboards need to link to the same “new artboard” when In link the first one, it works, then linking the second one it seems to override and the intital one does not work anymore

Please help!!!

It’s a bit difficult to understand what you’re describing. Could you make a simple example .prd file and post it here so we can help?
