Can you auto-align objects to each other, not to the page?

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Select more then one object, scattered on artboard
  2. Click on an align command
  3. Objects align in relation to each other, not the artboard dimensions

yes, the first align click aligns the layers to each other, clicking align again aligns within the parent. If the layers aren’t within the same parent then the behavior may be different. See video: Dropbox - Screen Recording 2021-03-22 at 1.48.29 PM.mov - Simplify your life
