Better sound controls

I’m trying to:
I want to be able to control sounds more precisely! so they dont just loop. maybe have the sound layer be part of the timline so you can prolong a transition to better match the sounds length. maybe even haven sounds be able to go across multiple screens(like ambient music etc.)

But I can’t because:
Principle only allows me to place a sound on a page where it will loop infinitely until you go to another page

This impacts:
I need to do a lot of work arounds for sounds to work properly. extending animations unnecessarily to fit sounds that get cut off. Creating redundant pages to stop sounds from looping(one page with the sound and one without). Often leading me to have to record a screen and then add sounds in a video editing tool further prolonging the process unnecessarily.

you can make audio play once by clicking the dropdown arrow next to “Fill” and selecting “play once”

You can play a sound across artboards by pasting the same sound layer onto two artboards. Those two layers need to have the same sound file and the same layer name on both artboards. Also, make sure that “media time” is frozen in the transition arrow going between the artboards, otherwise the playback time will get reset to whatever the destination artboard’s sound layer’s start time is set to (which can be changed in the fill drop down I mentioned earlier)
